About the University of Central Punjab
The University of Central Punjab (UCP) is one of the leading universities in Pakistan. UCP is a member of the Punjab Group of Colleges, the largest educational network in Pakistan with over 250,000 students. UCP is based in Lahore with a modern campus that offers excellent facilities for its 8,000+ students and staff.
The charter to establish the University of Central Punjab (UCP) was awarded in April 2002 and UCP has the distinction of being the first private sector university in Punjab to acquire the status of a degree-awarding institution.
UCP has multiple faculties which include Business Studies, Information Technology, Engineering, Arts & Social Sciences, Pharmacy, Media & Mass Communication, Faculty of Life Sciences and Law.
UCP Business School is one of the largest business schools in the country, with over 3500 students enrolled in its various degree programs, spread across five academic divisions and six centers led by foreign educated faculty. UCP Business School has served the community with excellence for more than 25 years, by providing business education at tertiary level and maintaining professional linkages with a number of British and American Universities including University of Stirling (UK), University of Southern California (USA), and Arkansas State University (USA).
